WTF Do I do with The Cone Vibrator
Ok the reactions of people looking at buying the cone vibrator are generally along the lines of “Wow, it’s so big!” and “How do I use it??”.
The Cone is probably the most fashionable of vibrators next to the Rabbit. They come in the gorgeous pink colour that you all know and love and are also now available in black. It’s unconventional shape has the potential to seem intimidating but don’t let that put you off! With 16 speed settings and a button that provides an instant orgasm you can’t go far wrong. You are provided with a booklet for suggested positions to be used either on your own or with a partner that is great to spark the imagination!
The Cone is packaged in a pyramid shaped pink package and you can immediately see the quality. The instructions are clear and precise and there are only two buttons a left and right one. Push the left one and it cycles through the 16 different settings for the vibrations programme, 1-15 are a steadily increasing tempo and power with 16 being the “orgasm mode” if you are pressed for time! The box is heavy due to the 3 ‘C’ cell batteries included! On opening the box you are presented with a light pink soft touch cone that was about 7″ wide at the base and about 5″ high. Because this vibe is a new type of concept and isn’t penis shaped you have to think about how it is to be used, the base is completely flat which makes it ideal to sit or squat on and the whole item is made of non slip rubber so is easy to handle. With it’s conical shape, the Cone is more about all over clitoral stimulation than about penetration, which is where most of the action happens anyway! (at least for most of us!)
A good position to get started with is kneeling on a comfy surface and lowering you on top of the cone. The first speed setting starts off so slow that you are able to get used to the shape and style of the Cone. I particularly enjoyed the variety of the settings as unlike some vibrators the cone is completely varied providing continual, pulsating and intermittent vibrations something for every sort of situation and mood. The instant orgasm button really is an added bonus as it provides just the right amount of speed for that crucial moment, allowing you to have the control of your pleasure!

Positions are only limited to the extent of your imagination! This toy makes a great couple friendly toy and wont intimidate your man!!
The Cone really is the lazy girl’s vibrator!. Apart from altering the speed settings, you don’t have to do anything, you can literally just lie back and enjoy! And who wouldn’t want that?
UPDATE: Black is the new Pink! The Cone is now available in black…be one of the first to get your hands on this little black number!

Sex Toy Price Sharks
Don’t you hate it when you are looking for a specific product online, only to find an ad saying “Get the new (insert relevant text here) here now for only £7 (or other relevant low price)? You think great, fantastic, this was much easier than I thought it would be, plus I’m going to save myself some dosh! You click expectantly on the link, to have a professionally designed website pop up with the product you were looking for. Everything is going great. Oh. Except that the price on the website is by no stretch of the imagination anywhere near the price that was advertised. Sigh.
I find this especially true with popular items like The Cone and Rock Chick. It’s advertised at one price, and on clicking the ad you find it’s actually much more expensive. What is with this? Do they think that I’m going to buy it regardless after they lied to me? Do I really want to pay extra for expected inclusions like batteries? If I’m spending £50 on an item, surely someone can throw in some batteries! It’s not like it’s going to sit on my coffee table as a decoration (unless of course you are just trying to keep 1 step ahead of your friends and got it for boasting rights, which is also perfectly acceptable)!
I can’t speak for other people but I go into “block/delete” mode and that store leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Hey, maybe I’m being unfair, possibly the blame lies at their marketing department for not keeping their ad’s updated? Maybe the owner has been on holiday and hasn’t updated anything? Maybe it’s all automated and the computer does everything? As much as I try and be charitable towards this, it still doesn’t help me, the consumer, who is sitting on a website with a product that they now cannot justifying buying because they had committed themselves to the price that was seen originally. It’s a bit galling to have to spend £10 more on something just because you were lured there. Where does it end? These sites inevitably advertise “Discreet delivery in plain packaging”, for all I know it’s going to arrive in dildo wrapping paper for my roommate/mother/other to receive on my behalf. Or may not even arrive at all!
In the world of sex toys discretion and honesty is very important, more so than buying other items over the net because of the sensitivity of the contents. I think that the stores need to start promoting this instead of preying on the consumer with promises of low prices. If you come across a website that advertises a product and said product IS actually that price, they are a keeper in my book! Honest pricing=honest store, and my mother doesn’t receive a dildo wrapped package from the post office!
